We pride ourselves on having a high level of caregiver retention who are highly skilled, trained caring to ensure a caring and comfortable environment for your loved one.
We are licensed for 16 residents and everyone who lives in our community has a diagnosis for some type of memory loss. Residents can move in with the very early stages of memory loss and stay through the end of their life.
We strive to create a warm, comfortable, clean living environment with delicious, well-balanced and home cooked meals. We also offer a variety of recreational activities and exercise regimens.
With care being overseen by RN owners, you can be assured that the needs of your loved one will be matched with professional and experienced solutions. We are family owned, and we know the importance family holds for you.
Sherwood Pines works with many outside providers in order to bring the best possible care to your loved one. We collaborate with Home Health, Physical and Occupational Therapy as well as Hospice. We like to be able to ensure that folks can stay with us through the end of their life – being with the people who have loved and cared for them. We also offer additional services:

David, Kerensa, and Marla possess unique skills that enable them to provide a great all around experience for residents and their families.
David and Marla have a combined 40 years of nursing experience as RNs.
Amanda Dunham has been the administrator of Sherwood Pines since 2023. She joined the facility as a night shift caregiver in 2019 and quickly rose to management. Her caregiving career began in 2007 and she is passionate about providing quality care and comfort to the residents of Sherwood. They give her a sense of purpose and fulfillment. She strives to create a positive and supportive environment for them, where they can enjoy their final days with dignity and grace.
Our Care Partners are considered ‘universal workers’ because they are responsible for cleaning the home, cooking, administering medications and more. All of our Care Partners complete all trainings as required by the state of Oregon. We exceed the training requirements for a Memory Care Community and we have a stable and excellent team of Care Partners, many have been with us for more than five years.
